I have been in practice for over 30 years. I have worked in schools and in addiction treatment facilities. I have been in the field of prevention for years and have taught courses in Prevention for those individuals who want to become certified prevention professionals. I have been in full time private practice since 1995.
My areas of expertise clinically include addictions, marriage, family, divorce, parenting, remarriage, and other relationship arenas. I specialize in grief and loss as it relates to all areas of life. I work with clients who are depressed, anxious, and going through difficult life transitions. In the initial meeting, we will talk about why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We will set goals together based on this information.
The frequency of your visits is usually determined by our discussion that takes place during our initial meeting. Typically, people arrange to have sessions every week or every other week.
